Nell Foster is a Holistic Allergy Practitioner with more than four decades of experience across both traditional Western medicine and complementary healthcare. Her work is grounded in a lifelong commitment to helping individuals find relief from sensitivities and chronic inflammatory responses through non-invasive, drug-free approaches.
Before relocating to Kauai, Nell served as Director of Clinical Operations and Adjunct Faculty at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona. Her leadership role supported clinical training, patient care systems, and interdisciplinary collaboration between physicians, educators, and students preparing to enter integrative healthcare practice.
Nell began her career in the laboratory of a community hospital in Ohio, where she developed a strong foundation in diagnostics, patient safety, and the practical realities of conventional medical care. She later worked alongside OB/GYN physicians helping establish a specialized laboratory and expand an infertility practice, where she supported patients, nurses, and physicians through both clinical care and education. Her work as an IVF/Donor Program Coordinator and Education Specialist strengthened her ability to guide patients through complex health journeys with compassion and clarity.
Over time, Nell witnessed a growing number of individuals struggling with persistent allergies and sensitivities—often cycling between strict avoidance and medications that did not fully resolve underlying responses. This led her to focus her work on helping the body recalibrate its reactions through gentle, non-invasive methods designed to support balance rather than suppress symptoms.
For more than fourteen years, Nell has worked with clients seeking relief from environmental, food, and chemical sensitivities. Her approach emphasizes individualized care, education, and partnership—meeting each person where they are and supporting their body’s ability to respond differently over time.
Now based on Kauai, Nell continues her work with clients locally and beyond, while remaining active in the island’s creative community as a theatre artist and director. She believes healing happens best when people feel seen, heard, and empowered—and her practice reflects that philosophy.
Her core mission is simple: to help people live more freely, with fewer limitations, and with confidence in their body’s ability to adapt and thrive.
